We are graduating from 798! For our final exhibition, let’s revisit the imprints we’ve left in 798 and witness the changes in our growth.

In 2005, with the support of the Taiwan Mountain Art Cultural and Educational Foundation, Mountain Art Beijing & Frank Lin Art Center was established in Beijing 798 Art District. At that time, the location was on a green alley adjacent to the current 798 East Street.

In 2009, due to the upgrade and renovation of 798 Art District, we decided to extend the exhibition space to the 798 East Street. With the space expansion, the exhibitions became even more diverse.

In 2015, owing to the lease adjustments, Mountain Art Beijing & Frank Lin Art Center was relocated to its current position at 797 Road. Although the exhibition area has been downsized, we still continue holding exhibitions and have made different attempts in response to the current trends.

After experiencing changes over the past few years and hosting over one hundred exhibitions in nearly 20 years at 798, it’s time for the next phase. The advancement of technology, the rise of various online media platforms, and the adjustments in people’s lifestyles mean that art promotion no longer needs to be confined to fixed locations for regular exhibitions. We will continue to pay attention to and support the development of Chinese art, eagerly awaiting our next encounter.

Thank you for sharing this fascinating journey!
