The first exhibition of “Between Us” Series 

Duet between Us shows the oil paintings of Yang Yunfei and his wife Peng Peng. As a famous oil painter in China, Yang Yunfei has obtained a classical and mature style of his own in painting, while Peng Peng is generally considered as Yang’s wife and model. However, in recent years, Peng Peng has changed her position to artist from model. Simple and genuine, her works give out tranquility and joyance.  

At the same time the audiences enjoy the visual beauty of the paintings, we hope the title “duet” could enhance out audiences to feel the affectionate couple artists’ dialogue. Love leads to together living; love leads to mutual understanding; love leads to common pursuing. They have different pursuit in art world but pursue together in the road of art. We hope audiences could take this good opportunity to enjoy the fruits of Peng Peng after many years of dedication in painting, masterpieces of Yang Yunfei which have never shown in public as well as the couple’s love for and persistence in art.
