Flowers have not only been the symbol of beauty but also a theme that perennially welcomed by poets and painters in their works. The works in the exhibition are all about flowers. Yet artists express them differently and they tell different stories.

Duh Yeong Chyau painted most of the flowers from his imagination. They're embedded with private emotions and vivid colors.  Wang Ke Ju paints from nature. He has been recognizable with his distinct uses of colors, compositions and bold brush-strokes. Flowers under Wang Long Sheng's brush whisper the beauty of pure silence in a grey tone.

As a female artist, Jia Juanli leads us into her mysterious dreams and impresses us with the harmony and simplicity of the flowers in her works; while Wu Zhengyan shows her perspectives toward the society and her everyday life through traditional floral cloth.
The theme of flowers can be expressed in many ways; but no matter if they are abstract, freehanded or realistic, all of the artists show strong influence from Chinese culture, which makes the language of flowers unique from everywhere else.
