The art works shown in this exhibition record Luo Zhongli’s memory of Ta-pa Mountain (which lies in western China) and Taiwan. The Ta-pa Mountain Series shown in the exhibition was completed during 1995 to 2000. It depicts the relationship between the farmers and the lands, and also the strong connection between the artist and the people there. The works that based on the lives of common people in Taiwan were completed in 1992. Though they present trivial matters, they show the best of the real life.

All these manuscript could lead us to a better understanding of the artist.  And we also get a glimpse of the painter’s life and the life around him.
